with: Roberto Gigliotti
collaboration Visual Identity: Andreas Trenker
The one in the via Bari 11, in Bolzano, is the last existing of the hundreds of houses realized in the 30’ by the Fascists for the workers of the newly built industrial area. Most of them were Italian migrants. The design of the exhibition traces a narration that starts from the nowadays-life of the neighbourhood and goes back until the demolition of the houses in the 80s. A specific attention is given to the everyday-life in the houses from the 40s to the 60s. The permanent exhibition tell the complex history of this place through photos, films, historical maps, three-dimensional models and an audio installation. The exhibition has been realized with the collaboration of the architect Roberto Gigliotti, the photographer Ivo Corrà, the filmmakers Miramonte Film, the sound-designer Stefano Bernardi and the writer Maxi Obexer.
