Accademia Carrara. Communication campaign 2016
The 2016 communication campaign developed by Lupo Burtscher for the Accademia Carrara narrates the museum and describes its qualities through the visitors’ experience and their direct testimonies, using quotes from the public who have visited the Carrara from its reopening to today.
For the 2016 communication campaign, a year after the re-opening of the museum, the explicit invitation to “Come and see us” becomes a conversation between the work and its audience. Cut in two by a diagonal line, the image on the posters tells a “before” and “after” of a visit to the museum through the direct experience of the individual, using quotes left by visitors in the guestbook over the previous 365 days.
